Fall Classic Book Club

Join Ms. Beverly for her Fall Book Club featuring two classic works!  Sign up for one or both.  Stop in the library beginning September 24 to pick up a free copy of The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.  If you sign up for both, you’ll receive A Little Princess when we meet for The Little Prince.  Otherwise, stop in beginning October 16 to pick up A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett.   Read all but the last chapter or two before we meet; (a marker in the book will show you where to stop).  We’ll read the conclusion together during our time as well as discuss the book.

For tweens or teens ages 10 and up.  Note: the Lexile score for The Little Prince is 710 (4th grade) while A Little Princess is slightly higher at 810 (5th grade).  Parents should decide if these novels are appropriate for their child’s reading level.
