Tweens and Teens will explore lunar phases and discover associations ancient cultures made between full moon and the natural world. The root of both “lunacy” and “lunatic” is the Roman goddess, Luna. Along this theme, participants will be presented with a series of myths or truths about the full moon and decide whether they are true. The program will conclude as participants each create and share a myth about the full moon in the month of their birth.
This program is designed for ages 10-19 in cooperation with Lancaster County Dept. of Parks & Recreation. Please register in advance to attend. Limit 30 participants.
