Get A Library Card
Welcome to Elizabethtown Public Library!
Library Cards are available for all people starting at the age of 5. Anyone who is younger than 14 needs consent from a parent or legal guardian. The link below allows you to download and print the registration form. When you have completed your form, please bring it to the Library, along with your ID, to complete your registration. Please do not sign the application until you hand it in at the main desk on the first floor. For residents of Lancaster County, Library Cards are free and are valid for 3 years. Every 3 years you will be asked to confirm that your contact information is correct and then your card will be renewed.
If you are a Pennsylvania resident from another county bring your Library Card along from your local Library. If it has the Access Pennsylvania logo on it your Library Card will be free and remain valid for 1 year. After each year you will be asked to confirm your information and then your card will be renewed.
If you are not a Lancaster County resident and you do not have another Library Card with Access Pennsylvania, you can still get a Library Card for $9.00 per year. Exceptions are made for Elizabethtown College students. If you are a student and you bring your Student ID with you, the annual fee is waived.
