Fingerprinting Services

Get Your Fingerprinting – Here At The Library

The Library offers fingerprinting services, in partnership with IdentoGo, for people who need FBI fingerprint background checks.

To register for fingerprinting you must register at www.identogo.com. When registering you will need a 6-digit service ID code. You should get this code from your employer or volunteer agency. The Library is not permitted to provide a code to you.

Make sure the information you enter is correct; this will be confirmed at the time of your fingerprinting appointment. Any error may result in a significant delay.

When registering you will have an opportunity to select an appointment time. This is highly recommended as people with appointments are seen first. Walk-ins are taken as time permits. If you select walk-in, you will, most likely, have to wait and may not be seen at all if the schedule is full.

Retain your registration information. The UEID code supplied at the time of registration will be needed at your appointment.

For Your Appointment

Make sure you have the original, valid identification documentation you selected at the time of registration. You will also need a form of payment unless your company prepaid. A credit or debit card is the preferred method of payment; while a Business Check or Money Order is also accepted, it must be made out for the exact amount. After you register, your confirmation will tell you the cost of being fingerprinted. If your service was prepaid you must have the payment code that was provided on your registration confirmation. Remember, you need your UEID code provided on your registration confirmation.

Arrival

The Library is just off the square in Elizabethtown, PA. You can find more information about our location and parking here.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes earlier than your appointment to give time for parking and walking to the site. We cannot guarantee service to anyone who is late for their appointment.

You may either enter Elizabethtown Public Library from Market Street or the parking lot behind the building. Fingerprinting is located at the East side of the 2nd floor. There are stairs and an elevator for access to the 2nd floor.

Please sign in on the registration page to let the agent know you are present. Your name will be called when it’s your turn.
