Things to Do

The Library is a great place to connect with a friend over coffee in the Coffee Company. You could schedule a toddler date while enjoying grown up talk and a freshly baked scone paired with a cup of tea. Enjoy a specialty drink while you visit with a business coach in the business center. There are so many ways to connect at the Library – we hope to connect with you soon!

Looking for a local treasure or a book to take along on a trip without the need to return? Look no further than the Friends of the Library bookstore that’s right inside the Library. You can find a New York Times bestseller or an out-of-print childhood favorite. Discover local artisans whose works rotate every other month. The selections change regularly so you will want to visit often. Proceeds benefit Library operations.

Check out our calendar to see what’s coming up. The Library offers programming for all ages and is interested in knowing what you would like to attend. Have an idea that you don’t see listed? Let us know by sending a message.

Need a location to play chess with a friend? Looking for a place for your toddler to safely explore on a rainy day? Want to spend Saturday beating your sibling at an old-fashioned board game? The Library has game selections available on the second floor and lots of table space to get you game on!

The Library hosts a number of events throughout the year. You can find more information about what’s coming up and how to attend, sponsor and get involved on our events page. Join us for a great time and help sustain the Library’s capacity for helping people make their dreams come true throughout the Greater Elizabethtown Area!

Need some energy to get your work done? Grab an iced latté or hot chocolate to get your focus back on track. You can buy whole bean or ground coffee to brew at home. The Library’s coffee shop (Elizabethtown Coffee Company) also has branded merchandise, great gifts, and in-store baked cookies as well. Check out all the Coffee Company has to offer.
