Special Experiences
The Library is more than a place to find your next book or movie. We have fun & unique events and programs which occur throughout the year. Some of these are educational, some are celebratory, and some are about having a great time with people in our community. Check out the list of Special Experiences below and you can also click here to see all upcoming programs and events at the Library.
Book Sales
Enjoy reading and want to keep the book instead of returning it? Then come to one of the Library’s Book Sales! These Book Sales are a great opportunity to find good books and more at an affordable price and help support the Library.
The 2023 Spring Book Sale was a great success. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen and to those who came to shop. Stay tuned for information on the Fall Book Sale.
If you are looking to shop for books, movies & more now, come to the Friend’s of the Library Bookstore. Their bookstore is open during Library hours so that you have the opportunity to buy some entertaining and educational materials while supporting the Library year round! For more information about the Friends of the Library and their bookstore, visit their page here.

Summer Reading Program
Our 10-Week Summer Reading Program occurs every year with a different theme. It is open to everyone; infants, children, teens, and adults are all encouraged to participate!
The theme for 2023 is All Together Now. Make sure to stop by and sign up for a reading log so you can earn prizes! We have lots of exciting programs planned for you to participate in this summer. Many of the favorites like themed Storytimes and Touch a Truck are returning. We also will have multiple art sessions with Miss Allison, a Chronicles of Narnia book club and movie viewing, magic shows, and so much more! Check out our calendar for all of the fun opportunities to learn, socialize, and be entertained this summer.
Our kick-off day is Saturday, June 3. The last day of Summer Reading is Saturday, August 12. We hope you join us as we are All Together Now!
